Last hand report shows you both losing.
Man…that 2nd hand…I learned the hard way not to call a shove with unimproved AK….difference is I was playing 10NL at the time. People really do this at 5000NL?
What did the third guy have? TT? 88?
Sorry, didn’t realize the converter messed up the results. Villain in hand 3 had AK no draw!
What do you think is a better way for the first villain to play his AQ? Just call flop? Then what? It’s kind of a tough spot…he probably thinks you’d re-raise TT or AK preflop and is only worried about 44 and AT…maybe A4s. You could be making a cheap bluff with some broadway cards or JT or maybe a kind of value/information bet with AJ.
He only beats a bluff, and if I am bluffing, I can’t have much equity, so I think it’s a pretty clear call. I’m never calling this shove with worse.
Yea, I agree the shove is bad. But when the turn and river brick off…he might have to call down. I’m not saying he played the hand well by shoving, just saying he’s kind of destined to lose a bunch of money in that hand. Whereas the villains in the other two hands could have gotten away from their AK pretty easily….
