I’ve done a pretty good job of cutting back on my tournament play, but with FTOPS VIII starting on Wednesday, that will probably change, at least for this week. I’m leaving town on the 11th and probably won’t be back in time to play the main event on the 18th, but I may end up playing every event from Wednesday-Saturday. For some reason the schedule still includes some “mystery tournaments”, but I believe these are going to be a shoot-out, a heads up shoot-out, and another 6-max tournament.
None of the events this week is especially exciting, but I am looking forward to Friday’s $200 Stud/8 tournament. The $100 rebuy on Saturday will be a great value, but I like it way better when they run that as a 6-max rather than a full ring game.
So you can look forward to some more whining about tournaments in the near future!
