Walter Tine is home for Christmas, but all he wants to do is play poker. Read more about his travails in my latest piece for Two Plus Two Magazine: Walter Tine’s Poker Odyssey, Part 4.
Walter received several poker books for Christmas – they were the only gift he’d requested – along with a set of plastic chips that he immediately despised. Not only were they a reminder that he had no one to play with, but they were a poor substitute for the clay chips to which he’d become accustomed at the dormitory game. The molded plastic was hateful to him, unworthy of the great game for which it was intended. Clearly his aunt, knowing of his interest in poker but insisting on injecting a dose of creativity into his request for books, had purchased the first poker-related item she found at Target.
Of course you should read Part 1 and Part 2, and Part 3 first. Please let me know what you think!
