Nate Meyvis’s latest book, Thinking Tournament Poker Volume Two, which covers his second day of play in the 2014 WSOP Main Event, has just hit the virtual shelves! It features Nate’s own analysis of virtually every pot he entered that day, plus additional commentary from myself, Leo Wolpert, and Gareth Chantler. Nate’s thoughts alone are eye-opening in terms of just how much there is to think about and pay attention to at a poker table, and the opportunity to see top players discuss tough spots and what factors would swing their decisions one way or the other is really valuable as well.
If you haven’t yet read Volume One, well, there’s no reason you’d have to to make sense of this book, but why haven’t you?!
I read the Volume One and it was amazing, going to read this new one. Poker lovers can enjoy reading it go ahead and make your purchase.
Thanks very much!
A couple of questions, if I may:
1. Will this become available on the nitcast.com site, or is it just going to be on Amazon?
2. Going by Amazon, the file size for this one appears to be about a quarter of the size of volume 1. Does this mean it’s a quarter of the length (or at least significantly shorter)?
(1) I’ll get this up on nitcast.com soon enough (some time in the next week).
(2) It’s actually a bit longer; it covers more hands and, if memory serves, the word count is greater. The file size on the first one is, I think, in part a relic of the series of file conversions that generated the .mobi file that’s up there. This time I went straight from .md to .mobi.
Great stuff – thanks!
