  1. lmao pure strategy. don’t be a lameass and do something that requires real strategy. #lmaoatthisgenerationoffools

    • Thanks for the comment. I’m unsure how to parse it, though. Are you saying not to “be a lameass and do something that requires real strategy” (ie “doing something that requires real strategy” is your example of being a lameass)? Or are you saying “don’t be a lameass, do something requires real strategy!”, where the latter is a suggestion for how NOT to be a lameass? Please advise.

  2. I would say that both the pre-flop call and flop call are atypical (at least for the micro-stakes games I play) unless Hero has been observed by the button 3-betting wide.

You guys should get Blackrain79 on the show to talk about micro-stakes and some of his strategies for tilting weak players and exploiting regs.

  3. Was the small bet on the river a ploy to get A7 to call? If not, I don’t see what a bet on the river would accomplish … he shows up here too often with a pair of some variety.

  4. For the listener who wanted a fun home game with interesting strategy, my new favorite is home game is one we call “Trash Omaha”. Plays like O/8, except each player is dealt 5 cards and must discard one. The discards are then shuffled, and the board is dealt from the discards. Pokerstars (or someone) should experiment with this one – it adds a whole new dimension to the game.
