One of the dryest podcasts. Not a criticism just as like a martini. Straight to the point.
Interesting outlook from a pro I have had a lot of interest in because of his mixed game expertise. Ill be looking in on Iveys site.
Was waiting for your comments on Venetian since you brought it up. I dont expect to play there and as of now will not. I dont judge those that do but was waiting for your insight. Im sure my boycotting will not affect the billionaire Adelson but for me its akin to someone from PETA to shop for coats at a well known furrier.
Yeah, I was going to talk about it and then I think we just got on to another subject. Essentially I don’t think there’s any like moral obligation to boycott Venetian properties. Sure he’s a little hypocritical but for whatever reason he thinks online poker will be bad for his business so he’s lobbying against it. I’m sure I do business with plenty of corporations that do worse stuff than that. And I agree that I don’t think my playing or not playing there will have any practical effect, so if it doesn’t accomplish anything and there’s no moral imperative, I don’t see the point.
