I didn’t last too long in this one but ran one kind of interesting bluff that I ended up bailing on (which I think is the most interesting part):

Villain was like 8/8 over a small sample size, but that was enough for me to assume that he probably had a big pair when he 3-bet me and bet the flop. I called with my draw figuring I could best represent a set/straight with a turn check-raise and that I’d be happy to see a free river if he chose not to bet the turn (which is probably the right play for him). This is a good turn for my purposes, since it’s unlikely to give him a set and could complete a straight for me. My intention here was to shove just about any river, but I think I have to abort on a 5, since it puts a four-straight on the board. In reality I would still shove my sets for value on this card, since Villain will never have a straight, but I don’t expect him to perceive it that way. In other words, he’s much more likely to put me on either a bluff or a straight and therefore call the river with one pair. It was an unfortunately result, but I’m happy with my plan.
On the other hand:
– He knows there’s no reason for you to think he has an 8.
– in his eyes if you were doing this with A3ss or A8ss, you just got there.
It’s certainly not impossible for me to have an 8. I just think between the table dynamics and the way the hand has played out he also expects me to have a healthy bluffing range. If he expects me to have a wide bluffing range and a narrow value range, even if he’s wrong about my value range, it’s not a good spot to bluff.
