I’m Still Alive

Sorry for the long silence- I’ve just had better things to do than blogging while I’m in Madrid. I’ll be home on Thursday and should return to a normal blogging schedule not longer after.

It turns out one of my coaching students lives in Madrid and is also a very cool guy, so we’ve been hanging out a lot with him. Tonight we went to a football game. I’m not generally much of a sports fan but obviously it’s a very European thing to do and I did actually play soccer somewhat seriously as a kid. That was a lot of fun, but there was this woman behind me who kept shouting “Vamos!” and all I could think about was Brazilian poker players. Very cool to see poker advertised in such a prominent venue (Bwin is the team’s chief sponsor).
