Granted I have like 0% equity when called, but it’s better than checking and letting the guy hit some random overcard or pick up a draw or just bet me off of the best hand. Also I get check-raise bluffed like never, except maybe by draws that are actually in pretty good shape against me anyway. And I’m probably making the same bet with, say, 99 as well, for a lot of the same reasons actually (minus the bluff-stopping, of course).
